Why Small Groups?

The Small Group Ministry of Gateway Church is designed to provide you a place to further your journey as a follower of Jesus Christ.  We have various opportunities for you to enjoy yourself as you encounter God through the Bible  and other people just like you.

 Sundays

Step Family Group Meets at 10:30 a.m. following the morning services in A-3.  Led by Wes and Deb Toland. Call 723-4283 for more information.

Gatekeepers

Gatekeepers is a ministry for the young at heart.  If you are over 50 (single or married), we invite you to join us. We gather monthly for fellowship, food, prayer and encouragement.  Several times a year we come together to serve our church and community in practical ways. 

  • April 4:  Celebrate Mexico Missions, 6:30 p.m.
  • May 2:  BBQ for Mother's Day, 6:30 p.m.
  • June 6:  Father's Day Potluck, 6:30 p.m.
  • July 11: Patriotic BBQ, 6:30 p.m.
  • August: Ice Cream Social, 6:30 p.m.
  • Sept. 5: Pizza Night, 6:30 p.m.
  • Oct. 3: All Staff Appreciation Dinner, 6:30 p.m.
  • Nov. 7: Holiday Gathering, 6:30 p.m.
  • Dec. 5: Christmas Party, 6:30 p.m.

Teen M.O.P.S.  For teens who are pregnant, or have a child who is kindergarten age or younger.  Every 1st and 3rd Monday night, from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. in the new building at Gateway (room A-4, 5).  No cost, dinner and childcare are provided, along with friends and fun.  Contact Sue Schanze for more information at 723-4283.

Wednesdays

Boundaries   A DVD series that offers biblically based answers to tough questions about how to set boundaries in relationships.  Wednesdays, 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. at Gateway Church, room C-4.  Call Jenny Salazar for more information at 723-4283.

Wild at Heart  A study for women who want to understand men.  Wednesdays, 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. at Gateway Church.  Led by Chris DeMott in the Library.

Divorce Care  A powerful DVD series that addresses the pain and needs of those experiencing divorce.  Led by Mary Mussotto;  Wednesdays, 6:30 - 8:30 p.m.  Meets in private home, call Sue Schanze at 723-4283 for location.

Thursdays

Journaling the Scriptures Led by Pat Rodrigues, room A-1 and Sally Ragonut in A-4.
