When should I arrive?
Our Sunday morning service starts at 9:00 a.m., so you might want to arrive a little early so that you have time to drop off your nursery aged children and stop by our information table. Our Next Level classes begin at 10:30 a.m., and are open to any who are interested.
What should I wear?
Be yourself! If you are more comfortable meeting God in your blue jeans, feel free to wear them. If a suit and tie help you worship God, then by all means, wear that. Our atmosphere is predominately casual; we’re more interested that you connect with God and our church family than we are in what you wear.
What should I expect at a service?
You'll enjoy contemporary music and practical messages that will help you deal with real life issues, along with the chance to connect with a community of believers.
What is available for Guests?
We have greeters at an information table available in the Community Center lobby before the service to welcome you. We also have a small gift we would like to give you.
How can I get more information about the church?
On Sunday mornings you can drop by the Information Center (located in the lobby of the Worship Center). The friendly staff at the Information Center will be there to help answer any questions you might have, and provide you with information about upcoming events. You can also call the church office at 723-4283.
What about my kids?
We love kids at Gateway, which is why we have an excellent nursery for infants – 3yrs. and a dynamic children’s program for preschoolers through 5th graders during the Sunday morning worship service. Teens are invited to Jr. and Sr. High groups which meet at 10:30 a.m. in the student center. For more information about mid-week options for teens, look under “Loving Each Other; Student Ministries”.
Am I expected to give when the offering plate goes by?
Not at all. The offering plates are passed for the convenience of our regular attenders. We desire to give something to you when you are our guest—not get something from you.
